For Anglicans Lent is the time when we remember the 40 days that Jesus spent in the wilderness, facing challenge and temptation. It is a time when we reflect on God’s purpose for our life. This year we challenge you to give up single-use plastics – to reduce the actions which damage God’s Creation.

It is with some sadness that Father Andrew has announced that he is leaving us for St. James the Great, Haydock. Our loss is St. James's gain. Father Andrew will be leaving in early May, but will return for one important event towards the end of May. He will be inducted in to his new parish in early June.
